Ronaldo sentenced to a suspended jail sentence of two years and will pay 18.8 million euros

Madrid, June 15, 2018 (MIA) – Cristiano Ronaldo has been sentenced to two years’ imprisonment and sentenced to 18.8 million euros for tax evasion, the Real Madrid striker and Portuguese national team.

Spanish tax authorities have accused the player of tax evasion in a total amount of 14.7 million euros.

Ronaldo will not go to jail if he does not repeat the work in the next two years.

He himself acknowledged the offense, and his lawyer team has so far been unable to reach an agreement with the tax authorities as to the amount of compensation he was due to pay to the State of Spain.

Several years ago, Barcelona’s father to Lionel Messi had to pay a fine of 15m euros in a similar process.
