Survey: Marijuana sold in Madrid is full of faeces


Madrid, April 4, 2019  – The majority of marijuana sold on Madrid’s streets contains a dangerous level of fecal bacteria, according to the latest research.

For the survey, 90 cannabis samples were sold in Madrid, where traces of echeric coli and aspergillus spores were found.

The pharmacologist at the University of Madrid, Jose Manuel Moreno Perez, said 40 per cent of the marijuana samples smelled of feces, 10 per cent of the samples found aspergillus spores, which could cause serious health problems.

He noted that as many as 88.3 per cent of the samples were not suitable for consumption.
