At the very end of the event, which featured two new smartphones – Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, Huawei made another surprise and announced the Mate 20 X, which comes with the largest screen ever made by a phone manufactured by the Chinese company.
The Huawei Mate 20 X has a screen size of 7.2 inches, the largest in the product line under the name Mate, which includes three phablets (a hybrid from the phone and tablet). Due to the huge screen, the phone is equipped with a massive 5,000 mAh battery, and it can also be used with a touchpad.
The company emphasized that this model will be perfect for gaming because of the big screen, but also due to the modern design for easier cooling combined with “graphene-based cooling technology”.
Mate 20 X comes with a Kirin 980 SoC processor, which will be greatly protected due to the new cooling technology. The smartphone has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
As part of the gaming compatibility of this phone, Huawei announced that a gamepad will be manufactured which will be attached to the left side of the device, and it will have an analog handle and motion controller.
The price of the Huawei Mate 20 X will be $ 899 and it will be on sale on October 26.
