The weekend is the perfect excuse for delicious snacks that you can eat for breakfast, supper or dinner. Spanish muffins are exactly that – a light snack that is equally good in the morning as in the evening.
The preparation of the Spanish muffins will not take much time, and it does not require much effort. You are only required to follow the instructions below.
For the preparation of Spanish muffins it is necessary:
1 cup (2 ml) oil
1 cup of sour milk
3 cups flour
200 g cheese, chopped into small cubes
200 g ham, chopped into small cubes
5-6 pickles, finely chopped
2 tablespoons ajvar
2 tablespoons ketchup
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 bag baking powder
– In one bowl, break the eggs and add the oil, sour milk, flour, baking powder, oregano, ajvar, ketchup and salt. Beat well with a mixer to get a homogeneous mixture.
– Now add the chopped ham, cheese and pickles. Mix slowly with a spoon.
– Fill the mufin molds with the above contents, which you have previously greased with oil. Sprinkle them with sesame from the top.
– Put them in a pre-heated oven at 200 degrees Celsius until they get a beautiful yellow color.
