The pumpkin is an autumnal fruit and is rich in vitamins and minerals, and especially with folic acid. Get homemade with this delicious marmalade.
It is necessary (for two jars of 375 ml):
500 g of cleaned pumpkin
300 g of cleaned acidic apples
200 g oranges with bark (non-sprinkled)
100 g of cleaned quinces
500 g of sugar
juice of 1 lemon
– Cut the fruit into small pieces and place it in a large pot. Dry about 100 ml of water and allow to boil at high temperature for about 5 minutes, from the time it begins to boil.
– Now blend the fruit in the pot with a hand blender, add the sugar and allow to boil at a lower temperature for about 1 hour (the length of the digestion depends on the diameter of the pot).
– The marmalade is ready when you see the bottom of the pot while stirring. Then add the lemon juice and cook for a few more minutes.
– Pour the ready marmalade into sterilized hot jars.
